Traineeship - 6 months: 16th of June till 12th of December 2025 VIV is the worldwide AgriFood top brand within VNU Europe. The brand is an absolute leader internationally in the field of livestock farming and the production of egg, meat, fish and milk. The portfolio consists of the following trade fairs: the international Flagships VIV Europe, VIV Asia, VIV MEA, VIV Africa and the national events VIV select China, VIV select Turkiye and VIV select India. In addition VIV trade summits, aimed at congresses, are organized. All is combined in the VIV online platform, which engages the global network 24/7.
Based in Utrecht, the Netherlands, VNU Europe is the international department of Jaarbeurs. In addition VNU has an office in Bangkok.
What are you going to do? In the office in Utrecht, which is your regular place of employment, you will find yourself in a challenging environment where no two days are the same. As a Trainee with the job title Operations Manager Assistant you will join the team that organises the Event VIV MEA, which is held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, from 25-27 November 2025. You will do the preparation from the head office in Utrecht, while doing the execution in Abu Dhabi.
During your traineeship you will report to the Senior Operations Manager.
Your responsibilities are diverse and amongst others consist of:
Supporting the Operational team with:
Handling exhibitor orders before & during the event
Handling sponsor orders before & during the event
Supporting with the general exhibition signage
Co-ordinating the VIP lounge and Theme square during the event
Supporting the Conference team with:
Arranging speaker permits for all conference speakers
