About us
VIV (trade fair) is the worldwide top brand within VNU / Jaarbeurs. VIV stands for Vakbeurs Innovatieve Veehouderij. The brand is an absolute leader internationally in the field of livestock farming and the production of egg, meat, fish and milk. Our international trade fairs include VIV Europe, VIV Asia, VIV MEA, VIV Africa, and the “nationals” like VIV Select China and VIV Select Türkiye. In addition to this division, VIV trade summits, aimed at congresses, are being rolled out.
All is combined in the VIV online platform, which engages the global network 24/7.
In Utrecht VNU Exhibitions is the international branch of Jaarbeurs, with an additional office in Bangkok. The VNU team of 12 colleagues, is an international, multicultural, and dynamic team. You will also collaborate closely with the team at the VNU office in Bangkok.
What you will do
In the office in Utrecht, which is your regular place of employment, you will find yourself in a challenging environment, where no two days are the same. You are responsible for sales, relationship management and acquisition. You keep abreast of developments in international livestock farming and protein production. You recruit prospects and help existing customers make connections with their target group. Connections that have content and contribute maximally to the success of their company or organization.
Whether the solution is physical, digital or cross-media. You have a lot of contact in the market with strategic partners and of course your customers, who you also visit.
The Sales and Account Manager VIV Worldwide at Jaarbeurs is constantly looking for commercial opportunities, is customer and result-oriented and an expert in relationship management. You are also proactive and a professional discussion and business partner who has an answer for everything.
Job requirements
What you bring
A medior to high professional education level of thinking and working
At least 2 years of experience in a commercial environment and experience with lead generation and consultative selling
A natural talent for customer focus, taking initiative, persuasiveness, result-driven thinking and with a strong commercial drive
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
Willingness to travel occasionally
You live in the Netherlands and are able to come to the Utrecht office 3-4 days a week
Experience in exhibition sales or knowledge of international agribusiness / nutrition is a plus, but not a requirement

What we offer
A monthly salary of up to €4.400 (Styr level 7) based on 40 hours per week, depending on your experience
8% holiday allowance and a pension contribution
27 vacation days per year based on a 40-hour workweek, with the option to purchase additional days
A collective company success bonus (max. 5%) when annual targets are met
Participation in the commission scheme (1 month’s salary at OTE, max. 2.5 months’ salary)
